The mission

Nevada has 850+ elected positions and a ~$15B biennial state budget. Tracking who funds whom, who votes for what, and which lobbyists move money to which politicians is a job that nobody does at scale in plain public view. This project exists to put that record online — searchable, cited, and free.

Three portals, one source of truth

All three portals share the same data layer (nv-civic-platform) and the same per-politician renderer. Every per-politician page on a party-themed portal carries <link rel="canonical"> pointing to the bipartisan master, per Google's duplicate-content discipline.

Funding + independence

This project receives no funding from any party, candidate, PAC, donor, union, or government agency. The code, data ETL, and infrastructure are maintained out of pocket by Gnome Ventures (Las Vegas, NV).
